10/20/2009 - Kova Solutions Delivers Complete Solution to American West Development


 Kova Solutions, providing solutions for the residential homebuilding industry, has been awarded an implementation of a complete production and financial operational software solution for American West Development in Las Vegas, NV.

With Kova Solutions, prospective homeowners are provided with a unique, interactive experience that guides them through product and community options including plotting their home, selecting their home site, choosing their home’s color scheme, picking their elevation and determining which options they would like from the convenience of their home computer.  When they are done with their choices, their options may be saved and a brochure can be printed directly from their computer to take to the sales office where a sales representative has already been assigned.

Once the contract is signed, the sales order seamlessly transfers into Production, Bills of Material, activities, scheduling, purchase orders and change orders are processed.  Activities can be viewed on an as needed basis by the field and vendors through web-based portals.  The accounting integration, designed by Kova and Cardamel Consulting, a Gold Certified Microsoft Partner specializing in construction, identifies all touch points and provides two-way communication between the office and the field eliminating redundant data entry and providing superior reporting and multi-company functionality.  

Upon completion, a Customer Service Module will allow the homebuilder to manage service requests from homeowners, service orders for getting service work done, scheduling of service calls and costing and payment of service orders.  These documents will be kept as a service history providing a complete cradle to grave software solution for American West Development.
