Carolyn Chasteen, CPA, CITP

Ms. Chasteen has over twenty-five years experience in Public Accounting and Computer Consulting. She has a twenty years proven track record selling and consulting on Microsoft Dynamics SL and GP.  Ms. Chasteen is also the President and Founder of Cardamel Consulting, Inc., providing superior consulting and customer service to a diverse customer base specializing in providing capabilities to help customers create or maintain a competitive advantage especially with an industry focus and expertise in residential homebuilding. She graduated from the University of Denver with a bachelor's degree in accounting, June 1984.

Melissa Douez, CPA (ND, Inactive)

Ms. Douez has twelve years experience in software consulting and ten years experience in accounting and management. She has extensive experience with implementing Microsoft Dynamics SL and GP for homebuilders, as well as assisting with design and testing of integration to the homebuilding software package. Ms. Douez is technically oriented and a great troubleshooter with proven customer relationship building skills.  She is able to relate with customers due to experience with day to day accounting procedures.

She has spent time collaborating with ERP Provider for Homebuilding Solutions, assisted in the creation of a real-time integration between Homebuilding software Microsoft Dynamics SL and GP. This includes the design, creation, and testing of a customization suite for both Microsoft Dynamics products to make standard financial accounting modules functional and user friendly for the homebuilding community. She graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a bachelor's degree in accounting, 1990.

Shinn Consulting is a widely recognized and well-respected leader providing support to homebuilders, and is dedicated to improving the professionalism of the home building industry.

Builder Partnerships

Builder Partnerships is a unique organization focused on providing education and improving communication and collaboration within the home building industry.   We represent about 500 builders across the United States and Canada who project they will build approximately 25,000 homes collectively this year.  
 
We utilize our volume to negotiate competitive rebates, model home and design center allowances as well as co-op advertising programs directly with national building material manufacturers.  We have over 75 manufacturer and service associates offering competitive incentive/rebates on every unit built. Members can earn as much as $3,000 per unit closed.

Through our secured website, we manage the entire rebate process for our builders including reporting, tracking and the collection and disbursement of the rebate and allowances.  This saves our builder members time, money and resources which are definitely scarce in our current environment.
